Batman: Arkham Origins villains revealed
As well as the already confirmed Deathstroke, the image appears to confirm appearances for Joker, Bane, Killer Croc, Scarecrow and Deadshot. Arkham Origins was announced earlier this month and is in development at new studio Warner Montreal. The game sees a younger, unrefined Batman encounter many supervillains for the first time during Christmas Eve, when "eight of the world's best assassins" are dispatched to kill him. Warner has confirmed the Batman: Arkham Origins release date as October 25 for current-gen consoles and PC. Read the full Batman: Arkham Origins details for more info.
Microsoft rolls out two-step authentication
Microsoft is enhancing security measures across a whole suite of software, including Xbox Live, the company announced on Wednesday. Customer accounts for Windows, Xbox Live and Skype will be given the option to upgrade to a two-step system, where either a secondary email address or telephone number can be used for back-up authentication. The wider aim is to gradually pull Microsoft's services closer together, with one enhanced password system used across multiple devices. A statement from the company reads: "A Microsoft account is the key that unlocks your experience across these products, from your Windows PC to your Windows Phone, from Xbox to Outlook.com, from SkyDrive and Skype to Office and much more."
